The PCI Trojans scoring struggles continued last night in the Manitoba High School Field Lacrosse League.

PCI fell 3-1 to Garden City in Winnipeg, in another cold and windy day on the field. Trojans' Head Coach Al Patterson feels barring a few minor errors, they were right with their opponents.

"We made a couple of mistakes which ended up costing us, probably a tie. So I think defensively we played very well, and we were able to adjust to their really good players, and were able to hold them from scoring too many times."

The Trojans and Fighting Gophers meet again next week, and Patterson's excited at the chance for redemption.

"We meet up with them on Tuesday. So we're going to get another look, and I think we'll get a real opportunity. Hopefully it's warm enough out so there's no excuses for anything other than having a great game and seeing how it goes."

PCI is now 2-1-2 this season.
