The Portage Terriers will look to get their second straight win in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League tonight. They're in Steinbach to face the Pistons.

"They're obviously in first place and they've strung together a nice win streak, I think they're at about seven or eight wins now so they're playing some good hockey," says assistant coach Paul Harland. "They're a deep team so we have to make sure we go in there and play hard, finish our checks and get on the forecheck. We need to get a lot of pucks on net, in that small rink you need to make sure you're shooting from everywhere."

The Pistons have won all five meetings against the Terriers, with the last victory coming just over a week ago at Stride Place.

"It's going to be a battle," admits forward Ty Enns. "We've been struggling a bit lately so hopefully we can get our act together and bring a good game tonight. It's tough to play in that rink so we'll need to be good."

The Dogs are 2-2-1 in their last five games and are one point back of OCN, who sits in fourth place. Enns says every point is big from here on out.

"We're a few points back of third and a couple back of fourth. With a couple games in hand, a couple of wins will really bump us up and give us an advantage."

Tonight's game starts at 7:30 in Steinbach. Catch the game live on CFRY and at Portage Online with the pregame show starting at 7:20.
