The Terriers have another shot to close out their Manitoba Junior Hockey League playoff series against Steinbach tonight as Game 6 returns to Portage la Prairie.

The Dogs fell 3-2 in Game 5 in Steinbach after winning three straight and now lead the best-of-seven series 3-2. They had a 2-1 lead in the second period of Game 5 and couldn't add an insurance marker on a late 5-on-3 powerplay. Terriers' head coach Blake Spiller felt that was a real turning point in the game.

"I thought we kind of shot ourselves in the foot on the 5-on-3. We didn't get anything accomplished on it and didn't get the puck to anywhere we needed to, I don't even think we had a shot on net. Those kinds of things will normally come back to bite you and it seemed to do that in Game 5. I thought it was tight like every other game, it's just unfortunate we couldn't get the puck out at times."

Terrier forward Chase Brakel scored both goals in Steinbach. He feels if all four Terrier lines are rolling, they're a tough team to compete with.

"I think that's the key to our success. We're not rolling one or two lines until we really need it, and if we have everyone going I don't think any team in the league can stop us."

"We haven't changed up a whole lot through the series and we're going into Game 6 good like that," adds Spiller. "We just have to make sure we're playing to win."

The puck drops tonight at 7:30 at Stride Place. If you can't make it to the game catch it on CFRY and at Portage Online with the pre-game show starting at 7:20.
