The PCI Saints and Trojans had some skaters taking part in All-Star activities yesterday.

Trojans' Grade 12 goalie Parker Page, Grade 12 defenseman Lucas Neufeld, and Grade 12 forwards Curran Ice and Sean Ballantyne were all involved in the Zone 4 High School All-Star Game in Carman. Page found himself on Team Blue for the All-Star Game while all three Trojans' skaters were on Team White. Page was on the winning side, as Team Blue scored a 12-8 victory.

Page also took first prize in the Goalie Showdown and was the co-winner of the MVP Award for Team Blue. Neufeld's shot proved to be the hardest, and he also won MVP for Team White. Curran Ice finished third in the fastest skater, and also took part in the hardest shot. Sean Ballantyne was a part of accuracy and the goalie showdown. The Trojans won the Team Relay to finish off the competition.

The Trojans' Curran Ice scored once, and calls the game a lot of fun. He adds it's a wide open game. "Just follow the play, with a little back-skate -- nothing too hard. (There are) a lot of good players," he observes, "Probably the best teams, by far, are Morden and Carman."
