Vancouver netminder Cory Schneider stopped 30 shots. The Jets, who face the Flames in Calgary tonight, remain two points behind the Southeast Division leading Florida Panthers who lost 5-0 to Philadelphia. The Washington Capitals have caught Winnipeg for the eighth and final playoff spot in the NHL's Eastern Conference. The Caps, who have a game in hand on the Jets, edged Tampa Bay 3-2 in overtime.
