The Winnipeg Jets playoff hopes took a big hit on Saturday night in Nashville. The Jets suffered their 21st road loss of the season dropping a 3-1 decision to the Predators.

Winnipeg is six points back of Buffalo in the race for the eighth and final playoff spot in the National Hockey League's Eastern Conference. The Sabres beat the Minnesota Wild 3-1. Tim Stapleton had the lone goal for Winnipeg. The Jets, who host the Ottawa Senators on Monday at MTS Centre, have seven games left.
