Vice-President of the Keystone Junior Hockey League Jerry Maryniuk says the Norway House North stars are expected to show up in Gimli for tonight's Game 3 and tomorrow's Game 4 in the championship finals with the Arborg Ice Dawgs.

It was earlier reported the Norway North Stars would defy a league ruling banning them from hosting playoffs game after a semifinal match which saw more than 30 penalties assessed and several members of the Selkirk Fishermen injured during that game.

Maryniuk adds if the team does decide to not take the ice for their game tonight, the north stars will forfeit the series and the Ice Dawgs will be awarded the championship.  Arborg already holds a 2-0 series lead over the North Stars with the opening faceoff scheduled for 8pm at the Gimli Recreation centre.
