Portage Padres remain undefeated in the Santa Clara Baseball League this season, after thrashing Austin A's 12-1 last night, in Austin.

Dustin Donald was a big factor in that victory, with a home run and three RBI's.

The Padres had an 8-1 lead by the end of the second inning, then scored a run in each of the next four. Robbie Moar, Tanner Blight, and Derek Boehm contributed two hits and two runs each as well.

Jason Kirkland picked up the win on the mound.

The Padres are a game-and-a-half ahead of Neepawa for first in the standings, and look to increase that tomorrow night. The teams clash at Rotary Republic Park.

The A's will try to shake off last night, when they visit third place Carberry Royals tomorrow night.
