PCI's hockey clubs are on the ice tonight in Portage la Prairie.

The Saints host Kelvin today at the BDO Centre. They haven't lost since November 2nd when they fell 5-3 to first place Springfield, and are currently riding a 3 game win streak. They won 3-2 over Miles Macdonell last Thursday, and face two teams lower in the standings this week. Head Coach Jo-Anne Clark-Gillespie says these are the games that can really help your stance heading into playoffs.

"Every game in the season is important, it's those ones at the end of the year that you let slip away that you wish at the end of the season while you're looking for positioning toward playoffs that you would have won. We're not going to take them lightly, Kelvin traditionally has a strong team so looking at their results they're in every game."

The Saints and Clippers go at 4 p.m.

The Trojans are on the ice later for Zone 4 High School Hockey. They host Morris at the PCU Centre after their 2-nothing shutout win over Garden Valley Tuesday night. The win broke a 3 game losing skid for PCI, and Head Coach Chris DeLong says a win won't come any easier tonight.

"It seems to be the year of the goalie because we keep running up against hot goaltenders. I know a little bit about the Mavericks and they can put the puck in the net. I expect a hard-fought battle, and it really depends if our work ethic comes to this one."

The Trojans and Mavericks face off at 7:45 at the PCU Centre.
