Portage FC has scored yet another victory in the U15 Boys Indoor Rec Soccer League, they beat West Saint Paul's team Chin 3-0 in this afternoon's match.

Darren Reimer scored Portage's first goal near the end of the first half and Coach Ian Currie notes it was a stand-out effort.

"I would say the first goal, scored by Darren Reimer, was a really strong individual effort. He kept grinding and grinding and eventually got his goal."

Lane Donald and Joey Tunski picked up Portage's other two goals midway through the second half.

Coach Currie explains this game showed the boys they can't take any team lightly.

"[It was] a very tough game. Portage had to work hard to come up with a victory, they were a really game team. But the boys dug in, especially second half, and played well."

After eight games this season Portage FC has a 6-1-1 record and is second in the standings.

Portage has an early game next Sunday, they face Valley Gardens' team Pauls at 10:30 a.m.
