There was some high school basketball around the region last night.

Westpark's varsity clubs were both winners. The boys knocked off St. Paul's Collegiate 58-55 in a Zone 4 regular season match at Westpark School. Head coach Ian Alford says the game was tied at 55 and they managed to pull away in the last :90 seconds. The win improves the Royals to 3-1 this season.

The varsity girls also picked up a victory. They were on the road in Carman and won 61-37 in an exhibition battle.

MacGregor's varsity clubs both hosted William Morton Collegiate in Zone 7 high school basketball.

The Mustangs' boys and girls both walked away winners. The boys won 83-55 and improved to 5-0 this season. The girls won 58-25 and are 2-2.
