PCI Saints post-season hopes were dashed yesterday in the Winnipeg Women's High School Hockey League playoffs.


After winning the opener of the best of 3 quarter final versus Jeanne Sauve Olympiens, the Saints lost the next two, including yesterday's contest in Winnipeg. The final score was 5-1 for the Olympiens.


Nicole Laramee got the Saints' only goal, opening the scoring at the 3:09 mark of the first period.
Jeanne Sauve tied the game at 9:21.


The Olympiens struck quickly in the second period, taking a 2-1 lead 49 seconds into the frame.
That's how things stood until 2:53 of the third, when Jeanne Sauve scored again, followed by goals at 5:42 and 10:14 to ice the vctory.


Shay Perry took the loss for the Saints.
