An eight-game winning streak was cracked last night, as the PCI Saints fell 2-1 to J H Bruns in Winnipeg Women's High School Hockey in Winnipeg.

"That's another loss this season where we've totally dominated the game, " admits head coach Jo-Anne Clark-Gillespie. "Not only in scoring chances and in shots on goal, but totally controlling the play of the game."

The Saints got out to a really strong first period to get a one-nothing lead, but let off a little defensively in their own zone in the second, and J H Bruns was able to tie the game. Another defensive breakdown cost the Saints in the third, and they couldn't find an equalizer with the little time remaining.

"It's just unfortunate that when we make a small error it seems to cost us, and it really did here tonight," adds Clark-Gillespie.

The loss drops the Saints to 9-4 this season in 4th place. They go again Wednesday in Winnipeg.
