It's another busy night of Santa Clara Baseball League Playoff action around Manitoba Friday.

The Portage Padres can finish off the Ebb and Flow Lakers' season with a win in Ste. Rose. The Padres hammered the Lakers 13-4 in Austin for game 1 Wednesday night. If the Lakers should win, game 3 would go Sunday in Portage.

For the first time in many years, the Minnedosa Mavericks could be eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. They're down 1-0 to Carberry after losing 11-7 to the Royals in Game 1. It won't be easy for the Mavericks as Game 2 is in Carberry Friday.

Plumas is one win away from moving on to the semi-final. They're up 1-0 on the Dauphin Brewers after taking a 4-2 victory in game 1 earlier this week. Game 2 is in Dauphin.

All three games get going at 7 p.m.

Then on Monday the Neepawa Cubs take on the Austin A's. The Cubs won 8-5 in their last game on Wednesday and could eliminate the A's with another win.
