The Portage Cobras are back on the pitch in Portage la Prairie this evening. They host Superbia FC in a Manitoba Major Soccer League Division 6 match at Rotary Republic Park.

The Cobras have yet to lose a game this season as they sit 1-0-2 after last week's 2-2 draw with Crescentwood Saturday.

"It's a good start," says player Chad Green. "Both of our ties we needed to come back late in the game but that is a good sign because the guys never gave up. I think we're playing well, it's just a couple bad breaks here or there, and we don't get enough shots off. I feel if we get more shots we'll get more of those offensive chances, it's not that our effort isn't there, it's more of a desire to win."

Superbia FC is 2-1 this season with 5-3 and 6-1 victories. Tonight's game starts at 7:30 pm.
