The Portage Terriers looked in top form last night.

They took out the Winkler Flyers 5-2 in MJHL Hockey at the PCU Centre. Goalie Brock Aiken stole the show, stopping 34 of 36 shots, including 4 breakaways. Portage had 4 different goal scorers in this one and didn't allow a goal through 2 periods. They were outshot 36 to 25, with only 5 shots in the 3rd period.

Terriers' Assistant Coach Paul Harland says it was a much better performance this week.

"As long as we're moving the puck up the ice and getting it to our forwards, it gives us an opportunity to get out of our zone clean. Every game is different, but we were pretty pleased at how we did that."
