The Portage Terriers Have another chance to win the Turnbull Cup tonight, this time in front of their home fans at the PCU Centre. The Terriers lead Steinbach 3 to 1 in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League's best-of-7 championship series, after falling 6-2 in Game 4.

Sunday's loss was the first for the Terriers since January 3rd when they lost to Steinbach in a shootout, in Steinbach. A few Terriers didn't see much ice time in the 3rd period of game 4, like Nathan Park who was pulled at 10:36 after goal 5, and Shawn Bowles who didn't see much of the 3rd at all.

Assistant Coach Paul Harland comments as to why.

"Injuries happen, and for other guys some bumps and bruises in a series. So we just thought we'd rest some guys halfway through the third period, just to make sure they're healthy and ready to go."

Harland gives his thoughts on what they need to do to be successful tonight.

"We just need to be sure we're moving the puck quick out of our zone, I think we had a little bit of trouble with that. Then just getting pucks behind their defensemen, and getting back to pressuring them and finishing our checks and creating turnovers. That will lead to some offensive chances for us."

Terriers' Assistant Captain Brett Orr lists a few areas they need to be better in.

"Being physical on their d-men. I thought that's what made us successful in Game 3, they were having trouble moving pucks up the ice. As D-men, kind of boxing their forwards out. They had a few goals that were tipped in because they had free sticks in front of the net. So we just have to be better in that regard."
