The Portage Terriers wrap up the MJHL Showcase tonight in Winnipeg at the MTS Iceplex.

They're taking on the Dauphin Kings in the final game of the three-day event. The Terriers picked up a win in their opening game of the Showcase against Selkirk. Assistant coach Paul Harland says the Kings have been playing good hockey lately, and they need to come ready to win.

"Every night if you don't bring your best effort chances are you're not going to win. So we need to show up and bring a real good effort here tonight, and hopefully, get the two points."

The Dogs' powerplay is running at 40% in their last three games, eight for 20 on the road. Harland's pleased with how they've been moving the puck around and finding the back of the net. their penalty kill's red hot and has only allowed one goal in their last 11 appearances. They also had a shorthanded goal in Monday's win over Selkirk.

The Terriers and Kings face off in the highlight game of the night at 7 p.m. Hear the game on CFRY and Portage Online dot com.
