It was a successful night for the Portage Collegiate basketball teams in Stonewall.

The Trojans would play first, and would crush the Stonewall Rams 83-40.

Coach Sean Hopps says they focused more on stopping Stonewall, rather than trying to run up the score.

"We came out tonight with a very strong defensive identity. We pressured the ball carrier from start to finish, and we got key contributions from every member of our team," says Hopps. "They were led by John Walsh with 19 points and 9 rebounds."

In the second game, the Portage Saints were victorious over the Rams 50-32.
