An incredible rush.

That's how it'll feel for most of the PCI Trojans as they take to Investors Group Field this afternoon. The PCI Trojans enter week 3 of the Winnipeg High School Football League season with their eyes set on a win over Kildonan East in the Andy Currie Division. Playing on the same field as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers is mostly a dream for a lot of the players, but thanks to the United Way Games and the Bombers, their dreams become reality today.

Trojans' Head Coach Brent Irwin says it's going to be an incredible experience for a lot of them, but they can't lose focus on their opponents.

"It is a big deal for the players. For some of them, they've never ever played there, and may never ever again, we don't know. I said get there, relax, take in the sights and then get down to business and be focused."

Morris at practice

Trojans' Grade 10 Quarterback Tyler Morris will be getting the start this afternoon. He's looking forward to his first trip as a player to IGF, but says it's still about getting a win.

"It feels pretty good. It's going to be great scenery, but we just have to go in there take 5 minutes to look at everything and the just focus on the game. It's just another game in the season."

The Trojans and Reivers go kick off at 3 p.m. All the proceeds from admission sales go to the United Way of Winnipeg.
