PCI couldn't complete the comeback last night in Zone 4 high school hockey at the PCU Centre.

They fell 5-3 to WC Miller, largely in part to a depleted roster. Several Trojans were missing from the game because they also play for the football team, who won in Winnipeg. Assistant Coach Darren Dalrymple says a few bad mistakes led to Altona goals.

"A couple of defensive breakdowns and we gave the puck up a couple of times. Altona always comes to play, they're always good games and they'll be tough games all season."

The Trojans were down by 1 heading into the 3rd period, tied things up early into the 3rd, but couldn't hold off the Aces' attack. Aiden Panko, Tanner Boyle, and Steven Vey all scored in the loss for PCI. They go again tonight against the NDSW Mustangs. Dalrymple's expecting a broader line-up tonight.

"We're going to get some fresh bodies back from football, as long as they're not all banged up. We'll just refocus, it was a close game right to the end there so we'll correct a few little things and carry on."

The Trojans and Mustangs go at 7:30 in Swan Lake.
