The Trojans managed to squeak out a 3-2 victory over the Nellie McClung/Pilot Mound Tigers.

"It was a total team effort," says DeLong. "We had two wingers go down with injuries tonight and the other guys had to pick up the slack and dig a little deeper, and they really pulled it out tonight."

The Trojans have been a part of 10 games decided by one goal, not counting empty netters to finish off the game. Head Coach Chris DeLong says that seems to be their mode-of-operation this season. "We're just continuing on with our roles and it's working," he says. "We're working hard, our breakout is really coming along. We're getting pucks deep and guys are where they're supposed to be."

Lucas Neufeld scored the game winner for PCI. Layne Rintoul and Sean Ballantyne also picked up goals in the victory.

The Trojans resume their season on January fifth when they host the Tigers for a rematch.
