10 weeks of work comes down to one game for the PCI Trojans Football Club.

They're in the Winnipeg High School Football League Vidruk/Currie Championship Final tonight with Dryden at Investors Group Field in Winnipeg. PCI knocked off Elmwood in the semifinal last week at IGF, and they haven't lost since their week 2 meeting with Dryden in mid-September. Head Coach Brent Irwin says there were some factors that contributed to the loss, and they're excited for a second shot at the Eagles.

"We felt we weren't well prepared for them. We had a couple of injuries that were critical, but again we're not looking for excuses because they're a very good team. They're big and strong, and relentless in blocking and tackling, but we feel we can give them a good game."

He explains what they need to do to come away with championship glory.

"Every down is almost like a marathon. Playing right solid to the whistle, swarm tackling, and guys just not giving up on any play and laying it out for their teammates. They seem pretty excited to do that."

It's been 8 years since the Trojans captured their only WHSFL Title. Kickoff is set for 7:30 in Winnipeg. If you can't make it to IGF for the game you can watch it here.
