The PCI Trojans are in Winkler this evening in the Zone 4 High School Hockey League.

The Trojans won 4-3 over Prairie Mountain Friday night, bringing them to a 2-and-3 record. Head Coach Chris DeLong says they've really struggled getting a full bench out for every game this season.

"Our biggest competition this year has been driver's ed, football and volleyball. We've only had 1 game where we've had a full line-up, and I'm happy for the boys that are in other sports. They can do other things too, and it means the other boys have a chance to show what they can do and pick up the slack."

DeLong says the team's strength is definitely their defensive play and goaltending, and they're doing a great job of staying out of the penalty box, something they struggled with last season. He's expecting a desperate Northlands Parkway team, who sits right below the Trojans in the standings at 1-2.

They go at 8 p.m.
