It was a sloppy night for the PCI Trojans in the Manitoba High School Field Lacrosse League. Their match against Oak Park ended in a scoreless draw, on a rain soaked field in Winnipeg.

The Trojans were the better team on the field, but struggled to finish when in the offensive zone. PCI Head Coach Al Patterson says the conditions played a factor.

"There were a number of times where we had a lot of opportunities, and unfortunately we either slipped, fell, or didn't make the play on the net like we probably could have if it had been a dry day."

Patterson says it wasn't a busy night in net for Riley Sveistrup, but he did the job when necessary.

"Actually the goaltenders at both ends actually played very well. We had quite a few more opportunities then they did, but when needed Riley came in big for us."

The Trojans next match is Thursday when they visit Garden City in Winnipeg.
