The MacGregor Wild (5-10-0-1) wrap up their Tiger Hills Hockey League (THHL) regular season this weekend.

The Wild have two games this weekend. The first is tonight at home against (12-4) Neepawa and they play again tomorrow in Gladstone (7-8-1-0). Wild defenceman Tanner Nicoll expects both to be tight, physical matches this close to playoffs.

"We can expect Neepawa and Gladstone to bring their 'A' game for sure this weekend, and hopefully, we do too," says Nicoll. "If we play hard maybe we can come away with one, even two, wins this weekend."

"Playoffs are starting to get a little more decided," adds Nicoll. "There's only one team that doesn't make playoffs, so we're safe there. The bottom two teams do a survivor series game too, and we're actually statistically safe of that one as well. So hopefully we can maybe move up a bit in the standings after this weekend."

The Wild are 2-1 in their last three games. They host Neepawa tonight at 8. They're in Gladstone at 8 tomorrow.
