It was mostly sunny and hot all the way through the 140th edition of the Carman Country Fair Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

That, and lots of people, what more could you ask for, said Jodi Winkler, Secretary-Manager of the Dufferin Agricultural Society.

When it comes to naming a highlight, Winkler says there were many. She says their agricultural shows were definitely big draws, with great entries in their cattle, heavy horse, light horse, and miniature shows. The animal alley featuring many different breeds of animals was also a bit hit, and of course, the midway was also a huge draw.

Winkler says they don't have a final count yet, but just from looking down the street, it would be safe to say their attendance numbers have definitely increased.

Looking to next year's Carman Country Fair, Winkler said, "141 will be amazing. 150, look out!"
