The RM of Rockwood's presenting its 2017 financial plan, and there's a public hearing for residents to make their voices heard, or ask questions.

"We have our regular Council meeting on Wednesday 3rd, and then we have our sharing for our budget, " says Reeve Jim Campbell. "Quite often, we only have one or two people who show up, and usually one or two of them happen to be the press. So, it would be nice if we could get a few people showing some interest."

He explains it's the people's money they're spending, and says you'd think most people would be interested in knowing just how it's being spent. Campbell notes concern usually only arises after the fact, when they get their tax bills in the mail.

The meeting's a casual one and you can ask questions or seek clarity on any items. It starts 6:30, at the council chamber tomorrow.
