It was the 3 Canadian Forces Flying Training School Wings Graduation Ceremony last Friday in Southport. Christian Drouin, reviewing officer Major-General, says it was an important event.

Major-General Christian Drouin"We had seven graduates today, and three of them were helicopter pilots graduate, and four of them were multi engine pilots graduate," Drouin explains. "They just got their pilot wings and they'll be joining the operational air force starting tomorrow (Saturday)."

Lieutenant Samuel Hung is a multi-engine pilot who earned his wings and won the Portage la Prairie award and says it's the best feeling ever.

He outlines his goals, ". . . to make the nation proud and serve my country. Thank-you Portage for having me. Thank you for having me the past couple of years, and I look forward to the next series of graduates who are coming through here."
