In the early morning of November 7th (at 1:40 am,) Arborg RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 8, eight kilometres north of Riverton, in the RM of Bifrost.

A vehicle heading south on Highway 8 proceeded off of the roadway and collided with an embankment. 

The driver and sole occupant, a 56-year-old man from the Interlake, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Arborg RCMP and the Criminal Collision Investigation Team continue to investigate this case.
