A resident of the Town of Arborg is being honoured by the Manitoba Council On Aging. Mayor Randy Sigurdson says they nominated Beggi Anderson for a recognition award, noting one member of town council attended the ceremony as their representative. Sigurdson says Anderson has been volunteering at the Multicultural Heritage Village in Arborg for many, many years. He notes Anderson works tirelessly and it's very fitting that he's being honoured for his volunteer contributions.
