More funding has come in for the BDO Centre for the Community. Secretary and CCCI Board Director Tracy Waldvogel says the BDO Centre was one of the organizations which received money from the RBC Cup's Legacy Fund, noting they're grateful and happy to be a part of it. Waldvogel says they decided they wanted to do something more with the money rather than just putting it into capital projects, because most of those projects are done for now. She notes the approximately fifteen thousand dollars from the RBC Cup went into tinning a wall at the arena.

Waldvogel adds they also recently received a grant from the Manitoba Community Places program to help with roof repairs and upgrades on the lighting and the fire alarm system. She says they apply for grants every few years and have always received some money from Manitoba Community Places, noting that particular program has been incredibly supportive of their arena.
