Today's the final day to catch The Lion King Jr. presented by 8-BIT Theatre and the William Glesby Centre in Portage la Prairie.

"This is our fifth year, and there's only one more performance left for our fifth year," says Director Chris Kitchen. "We want to have as many people out here in the afternoon as we can. 2 o'clock right at the Glesby Centre and I'm sure it's something you aren't going to want to miss because a lot of people will be talking about it."

Today's performance is the final show of three. 14-year-old Ryle-Ann Steedan's playing Rafiki in the performance and encourages you to check out the final show.

"It's a lot of fun after doing it for a while, the first show was getting all the nerves out but overall it's really amazing, says Ryle-Ann Steeden. "It's a lot of bright colours and people running around on stage, it's a great time for sure."

"I really enjoy getting on stage and acting and I've been doing it for quite a while now. I've made a few friends through the experience and I just love the kind of group that is here," says 18-year-old Joshua Jones who plays Pumba. He'll be performing in his final performance with the group this afternoon. "People should really come out to the final show because we've worked really hard at it, and we have a lot of fun out there doing what we will and you will too."

"It's a lot of fun, and it's a lot of the actors' last time ever. So come out and support them because it's a really good experience."

The show starts at 2 at the Glesby Centre in Portage la Prairie.
