"I just looked at what could be my next home, maybe; the $36,000 camping trailer down there. It's got everything I need. [I] spent some time talking to our new economic development guy, Vern May, who's got all kind of ideas to develop new business in Portage. It's just a great show."

Barbara DyckBarbara Dyck was also at the Expo, and shares her thoughts.

"There's a really good representation of all the different products available in the community. I think it's an excellent idea for them to set that up and allow everybody to take a walk around."

She notes she was surprised at how many people came out, adding the snow in the morning may have contributed to the number of people in attendance.
