Some children's Christmas events are taking place this month at the Portage Regional Library. Program coordinator Lori Mackedenski says they'll have everything from movies to story reading.

"We've got a couple of movies and those are listed on our website. Next Tuesday we have a Crafternoon. If you've got some younger people who'd like to make some Christmas decorations, come on down at 4:15."

She says story time sessions take place during the mornings of December 21st and 28th, falling on Wednesdays. They start at 10:30 and are entitled, 'Welcome Winter'. Mackedenski notes those stories are for children aged three to six accompanied by a caregiver.
