The Town of MacGregor has a new tourist highlight in its community called the Henderson House. Municipality of North-Norfolk Mayor Neil Christoffersen says it's a catalogue home that was ordered in 1920 from an Aladdin catalogue and arrived in a boxcar ready for construction.

"You've heard of those Eaton's catalogue homes? This was a company called Aladdin that made catalogue homes," explains Christoffersen. "This was one that was built in MacGregor in 1920 and went through various owners."

He explains a Mrs. Henderson owned it most recently and donated it to the town of MacGregor around 2005. A committee now looks after it and has restored the interior to a 1920's look. The exterior just needs completion. Tourists can walk through the historic home on the main street, Hampton. A sign will be posted in town and notice will also be included on the community webpage.
