Portage la Prairie RCMP were patrolling the area of Oak Bay around 5:35 a.m. this morning (June 9th) when they observed two males walking between houses. Officers recognized one of the males as 23-year-old Jean Claude Martin and knew that he was at large on a warrant for his arrest. Officers called out to the males to stop, but they attempted to flee on foot. As police chased the males they observed Martin reportedly drop several items, including a sawed-off rifle and a machete. Martin is presently charged with six (6) criminal offences.

Roulette is described as an Indigenous male youth with a medium build, standing 5'8" tall, weighing approximately 150 lbs. Roulette has brown hair and brown eyes, with numerous tattoos on both of his arms and both hands, as well as ‘tear drop’ under his right eye. Roulette is presently at large on charges of failing to comply with a probation order.
