A unique program to help develop childrens social skills is expanding across the province. The Manitoba Government says the PAX good behaviour game will now be distributed to nearly 200 schools, including first nation and independant schools. PAX is a learning program that was originally created by an elementary school teacher to improve the classroom environment by reducing disruptions and allowing for more focused learning. The Fort la Reine School took part in its initial pilot project last year. Principal Lawrence Mackenzie says they have seen first hand how effective it can truly be as the kids have bought into it and it has been into integrated into every aspect of their school day.
