Here's a peak at the cover

A book launch is set for this evening at the McNally Robinson Grant Park Atrium in Winnipeg for local author Johannes Waldner.
Waldner, who hails from Baker Colony near MacGregor, says "Playing Like Timothy" is a story about a little boy who's trying to be a good goalie but has trouble stopping pucks. The story originated through a creative writing course he took at Brandon University where one of his assignments was to write a fictional children's book. Waldner notes when he started the project he wanted to write something about hockey and have it centre around a Hutterite colony. He adds he's surprised by the positive feedback he's getting as a lot of people he thought wouldn't get anything out of the story have really enjoyed it. Waldner adds he's extremely grateful and wishes to thank Kenny from the Hutterian Brethren Book Centre for everything he's done. The launch takes place at 7 pm and everyone is invited to attend. For those interested in getting a copy, they're available at McNally Robinson, through Amazon, or the HB Book Centre.
