Seth Puddicombe of Portage la Prairie isn't looking to be a movie star -- but he's fine getting paid to be in movies!
Puddicombe was recently cast as an extra in the upcoming film Breakthrough, starring Chrissy Metz and Topher Grace.
He says he was one of 400 people who applied to be a basketball player in the film, and was one of fifteen who were picked.
"I was a player on his team and I was in a few of the scenes on the court, and on a few of the scenes off the court of when he comes back from his recovery from the coma," says Puddicombe.
The story is about a boy who falls through the ice, and is without a pulse for 45 minutes and his miraculous recovery. The film is described as a Christian drama which is being released by Walt Disney Studios.
"It was cool just to see how the movie is made, instead of just watching a movie," says Puddicombe. "It was cool to see how everything is happening, all the cool actors and stuff. It was a really cool experience."
Breakthrough is set to be released on Wednesday, April 17th in Canada.
