With one Portage winter under his belt, Portage la Prairie School Division Superintendent Todd Cuddington says he's glad to be here. He notes facing winter was daunting coming straight to the city from Turkey.

"I made it through winter which was my greatest concern," says Cuddington. "After having been winter-free for a number of years, I wondered how'd I survive. But it was great. Portage has been wonderful. There's a great sense of community here. My daughters are involved in lots of activities and have made some great friends. My wife and I are super-happy with the transition back."

Cuddington describes the division staff as great and says the teachers and EAs are incredibly dedicated. He adds it's remarkable to see the great things taking place throughout the division.
