Grade eleven student Travis Eilers took part in the Rotary Club's Adventures in Technology (AIT). He explained how it came about today at the weekly Rotary luncheon at Canad Inns.

Travis Eilers"The Rotary club from Saskatoon was actually looking for a whole bunch of different kids -- about 25 -- whom they would sponsor to come and see what technology in the world has to offer within the area of Saskatoon," says Eilers. "We had many people from around western Canada and we actually had two exchange students, both from Italy."

He says one of the highlights of his trip included the trip to WBM, a computer admin and printer company in Saskatoon.

"Another would have been Global News Saskatoon," continues Eilers. "We were able to see what all happens behind the scenes of TV news. It was really entertaining to see. The trip took place at the end of April until the beginning of May for one week."
