The RCMP is investigating the theft of two snowmobiles from a job site in the RM of Alonsa.

The theft was reported to Amaranth RCMP on Feb. 13, after employees returned to work Monday morning to find two 2015 Ski-Doo Skandic 600cc snowmobiles were missing, police say in a release. The trailer the snowmobiles were stored on was found shortly after in the area of Road 51W and Road 100N in the RM of Alonsa.

Mounties say a green Honda ATV was believed to have been damaged at the same time as the snowmobiles were stolen, as there was evidence to suggest it too was a target of theft.

Investigators are asking that if you see snowmobiles similar to those pictured, that you contact the police with their whereabouts. If you have knowledge of anyone’s involvement with either the theft or damages to these vehicles, please contact the Amaranth RCMP at 204-843-2309 or your local police detachment.
