Delta Campground saw a lot of progress take place last year.

The RM of Portage la Prairie recently updated the council about how it's faring.

"Delta Campground... PRRA (Portage Regional Recreation Authority) is doing a great job," says Deputy Reeve Garth Asham. "And Delta Campground's in a very positive note. We get so many positive comments about it. And we're very, very enthused about the whole Delta scene out there."

He explains things are moving forward there. He adds they'd like to see a food vendor get started on site, noting some people have expressed interest in it.

"We'll cross those bridges when we come them," continues Asham. "We continually see good ideas coming from Delta and positive results."
