The RM of Woodlands Council recently received a public water system assessment report for the town of  Warren. Reeve Trevor King says the engineering firm which filed the report had some recommendations for the municipality, noting Council takes those recommendations very seriously when it comes to budgeting and looking into the future of the water system.

King says one recommendation was to have an extra well in case anything happened to the existing well, which he describes as aging.

He notes they'd also like to look at some different options for water going to Warren. King adds everyone there currently uses private wells, so one option could be to find a way to tie the town into a regional water system.
