It's been a great year for Arborg Collegiate students.

Principal Randy Semenek says he's proud of everyone who will be moving on.

"We have a great group of grads that are graduating this year," says Semenek. "We're anticipating twenty-one grads and we're anticipating a lot of scholarships for them so everyone's getting pretty excited but the work is kind of right in the midst of it now to make sure everything gets done for June."

On the athletic side of things, he says the Arborg Athletics had a great season, especially on the basketball court.

"Things have gone very smoothly. A number of our sports teams won zone championships this year. We're really proud of that," says Semenek. "Our varsity boys (basketball team) finished second in the province in the A Zone finals, that happened just over a month ago. That was a huge highlight for us."

The school's track was also recently finished, and they will host the zone championships for the first time later this month.
