On June 25th, at approximately 12:43 p.m., Stonewall RCMP was dispatched to the scene of a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 7, north of Teulon.

The initial investigation determined that a pickup truck left the road and struck a telephone pole. The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle an 81-year-old male from the RM of Armstrong was transported to hospital in serious condition. The driver later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

The investigation into the cause of this collision is ongoing.
