Tornado warnings are once again in place for the region. Just after seven o'clock, Environment Canada issued a tornado warning for the south-central region of the province. Extra attention is to be given to the Portage la Prairie, Carman, Brunkilk, and RM of Grey areas.

Environment Canada says the storm is also capable of producing damaging winds, Large Hail, and intense rainfall. They advise you to take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches.

A caller informed us a tornado touched down in Long Plain First Nation around 7:00 p.m., and allegedly went toward a Hutterite Colony.  No further news is available at this time.
