Repairs to the water treatment plant in Austin are taking longer then originally expected.

A boil water advisory for the communities of Austin and Macgregor will remain in effect -- it was issued July 23.

According to Macgregor Mayor Darwin Crabbe the costs of the repairs a not known yet but they will be paid by the water utility account which is run by the RM of North Norfolk.

Crabbe hopes the repairs are made by the end of the week and the advisory lifted in time for the 125th Anniversary.

Crabbe adds people in the communities' have taken the problem in stride.
