The administration office at Southport is almost fully repaired after a vehicle crashed into it in Sept. 2016.

The accident cause extensive damage to the building and required two steel structural beams to be replaced. Southport CEO Peggy May says staff at the office were displaced during the renovations, and board meetings were forced off-site. Things are now returning to normal.

"We have 15 deficiencies on our list for renovators to look at, but mostly everybody is back in their own spaces," May says. "...We have a few things to finish up, like putting some pictures on the wall. But then we're back to normal."

"It's nice to start the new year out on the right foot."
